Our staff are from a diverse range of backgrounds and can provide our clients with a great depth of resources.</span></p> <p class="style1"><br /> <strong>Management</strong><br /> <span class="style2">Jake Hoddinott &ndash; Founder</span> <br /> Jake started his working career as a guide in the Waterberg and then the Sabi Sand Wildtuin in the greater Kruger National Park, South Africa. He then spent a few years working in property investment in the banking and finance industry in London. After returning to South Africa, Jake worked for a tourism investment consultancy following which he formed African Array and worked on the development of the Sun and Sun Ray Rating System, the Game Lodge Index and the Safari Index. Jake has a Master&rsquo;s degree in Real Estate and bachelor&rsquo;s degrees in Economics and Financial Accounting.</p> <p class="style1"><span class="style2">Claudine Du Toit &ndash; Head of Sales and Marketing.</span> <br/> While completing a National Diploma in Hospitality Management, Claudine worked for the Protea Hotel Group and a 5 Star guest house in Cape Town. In addition to her Hospitality training Claudine completed a certificate in Public Relations and Financial Accounting. She then travelled to London and worked for Firmdale Hotels, a leading boutique hotel group, for the next three years. Claudine went on to work for the Ritz Carlton in Florida in the USA. Upon Claudine&rsquo;s return to South Africa, she opened a luxury game lodge in the Eastern Cape which she managed. She then went on to assist with the opening and management of another prominent Eastern Cape game lodge and has extensive lodge management experience.<br /><br/> <span class="style2">Jaime Naylor &ndash; Senior Review Consultant.</span><br/> After completing a Diploma in Game Ranging, Lodge and Game Farm Management, Jaime worked as a guide for three years in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve in the Greater Kruger National Park. Jaime then spent some time travelling throughout South East Asia following which he enrolled at the University of Pietermaritzburg and completed a degree in Law and Sociology. During this time Jaime worked as a freelance guide and made regular trips back up to the Lowveld. Jaime joined African Array at the beginning of 2010 as a Senior Review Consultant.<br /><br/> <span class="style2">Ross Hoddinott &ndash; Creative Design.</span><br/> Ross attended the University of Cape Town and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Film, Media and Visual Studies. Ross then spent a brief spell in the United Kingdom before returning to South Africa to work as a wildlife filmmaker&rsquo;s assistant in the Kruger National Park. Ross then went on to manage a Shell station in Cape Town before returning to his childhood passion for Africa by joining African Array in 2010. Ross heads up creative design, working on the Index websites and the Safari Index publication.<br /><br/> <span class="style2">Carrie Forder &ndash; African Array Travel. </span><br/> Carrie was educated at Stellenbosch University where she obtained a degree in Business Management, Logistical Management and Entrepreneurship. Carrie then completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management through the WITS Business School. Upon completion of her studies, Carrie worked in hospitality event organisation and management for a small events company. Following this, Carrie moved in to the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events Department at Tourvest Retail Travel. Through this role Carrie gained international experience in her field managing corporate events around the globe.
