The Game Lodge Index
The ‘Game Lodge Index’ is based on independent ratings and reviews of commercial camps and lodges in Africa. African Array has undertaken an independent site review of each lodge on the website. Unlike other websites that are based solely on a hotel-based star grading system, African Array has developed a unique rating model that takes in to account not only the accommodation and facilities, but also the unique features, quality of service and most importantly the wildlife experience.
Lodges are rated by consultants from guiding and lodge management backgrounds. The website is a subscription site aimed at international travel agencies, tour operators and regular safari goers. It provides users with a detailed database that can be searched via unique search tools to match specific traveller requirements based on what clients are looking for. It essentially enables users to find their perfect safari destination. For more information please go to: www.gamelodgeindex.com
The Safari Index.
African Array is currently developing an innovative travel website similar to the Game Lodge Index focussing on game lodges, camps and safari experiences in Africa. This site however will be freely available to the public and will allow them to be able to search for their perfect safari destination within minutes. Users will be able to gather detailed information on each lodge or camp and compare various features of different camps and lodges based on the Sun Ray ratings of each. Users will then be able to book directly online once they have decided on their most suitable safari destination based on their unique preferences and requirements.
The Backpacker Index
African Array is developing a website focussing on the budget travel market which provides holistic ratings and detailed reviews of backpacker lodges, hostels and other affordable accommodation types. Current and potential visitors to South Africa and Africa will be able to search for the most suitable affordable accommodation and activities depending on where they want to go via a detailed search function. |
